JoiRide is an immersive virtual reality experience that combines cutting-edge VR technology with a connected pedal device and engaging interactive design to deliver powerful physio-cognitive excercise. An early version of the experience was originally developed as a solution for my Mom who was living with Alzheimer's Disease and was unable to maintain physical activity. We designed the experience to appeal to all ages, but with special consideration for older adults and persons living with dementia. Early partners included Boost VC, Hilarity For Charity, Embodied Labs, and the Pacific Neuroscience Institute. I designed and developed the entirety of experience along with Zenjoi teammates Justin Hamman, and Cameron Feng.
